AGM Invitation
The Long Bay Okura Great Park Society AGM is on Sunday, October 16th, 2022.
This is a chance to hear about the environmental work we do and be entertained by
Guest Speaker: Jason Maguiness, Principal Ranger, Northern Regional Parks.
Jason has a long association with Long Bay Regional Park and will be explaining the recently released Regional Parks Management Plan for Long Bay. A Q&A session relating to his presentation will follow.

Day: Sunday October 16th
Time: 3pm-4.30pm
Venue: Browns Bay Presbyterian Church Hall, 45 Anzac Road.
*Followed by refreshments.
The Society are looking for 2 further executive members and invite people who are passionate about the Long Bay Okura coastline to contact us.
We look forward to seeing you at these events and working with you to protect and enhance the marine and land reserves around Long Bay and Okura.

Local Body Candidate Survey Results
Thank you to all of the 2022 Local Body Candidates that attended the Long Bay Okura Great Park Society community meeting.
Before the meeting we conducted a survey in which 16 candidates responded to questions about preserving and enhancing the Long Bay Okura Marine Reserve and Long Bay Regional Park.
Of the 16 candidates who replied to the survey, 100% agreed that the Long Bay Okura Marine Reserve and Long Bay Regional Park are 'Extremely Valuable'.
